Lisa's costume is because I wanted to have her wear a normal, possibly even trite, costume
Maria's costume is inspired by some guy from my school
Missy's costume reason is listed above
Kelly's costume is to separate herself from Missy's costume

And finally: If you put the current Democratic Party logo next to the Obama logo, it spells "do".
